Yest was the eve of Christmas and i was expecting a half day from work but i was told the day before that there wasn't for our department..everyone had to work full shift..so yeah i wasn't expecting much but just go with the flow..so work started as per normal..930am..and after the sked meeting which is conducted every morning..Serene the editor said we can chop chop finish our work and all of us can go off at 3pm! Everyone was in the woohoooo! mode..haha! so yup by 230 i got my work done and waited for Pam to end hers and we knock off from the office at 330pm..weeeeee! I guess everyone was in the Christmas mood..so i made my way to Clementi to meet the lady who made lovely cupcakes for me and the love to be celebrated on his birthday..this lady is so kind to take in my order at the very last minute..it was about less than a wk to his birthday which i made order..it was crazy i tell you..i scouted for cupcakes and most were either fully booked or they do not take orders till the end of the year..my! it was disappointing and i was in the verge of giving up about getting cupcakes and the last resort will be a cake..but! this lady came to my rescue..she was really nice to fulfill my wish..anyway her cupcakes are so lovely and delicious..i forget her website tho at the moment..shall promote it when i get her online cupcakes web..so back to the plan..after collecting the cupcakes..i rushed to Cityhall to reserve a place at BREEKS Marina..it was 5 plus upon reaching and i told him to meet me at 6! yikes! Reached BREEKS and i told the manager about my surprise plan..left the cupcakes with them..and off to actually get movie tickets for Good Luck Chuck but oh my! the queue was freaking long and i felt so suffocated looking at the people..but oh well Good Luck Chuck wasn't showing..so i rushed back to Cityhall to pick him up..i thought i was late..but he was 15 mins late..bleargh! Quickly brisk walk to BREEKS which he was clueless about..hehe..We arrived and was ushered to our seats..Alhamdullilah they hold us the sits..because they said it was full-house..we sat..and we decide on what to order..i told him to order anything he wants..its his day..i want him to be happy..hehe..while waiting..we took pictures..

Happily indulging our food..talking..laughing..finished our food..and it was desert time..the manager came to clear the table for us..and i signaled to him for the surprise to be made. The desert came in 1st..and then....it was the crew! singing a happy birthday song saying his name too..haha! and heading to our table with the cupcakes with a candle on one of it..i missed to take a shot of his priceless look..hahaha! but he was smiling and blushing..everyone was practically giving him attention..hehe..

after the fulfilling dinner..both our tummy was so boncit..hahaha! paid the bill..i thanked the BREEKS crew for their help..they provide good service..thumbs up!
We made our way to the Merlion next..to chill and to pass him his gift..it was packed with humans..eve of christmas..can't help it..we took our own sweet time walking and talking hand in hand..reached and we find a spot to sit..yest's weather was good i must say..

as time passed..i felt exhausted and he noticed it..i know..i felt bad feeling that way especially on his day but i can't lie with my actions..so we decided to head home..and his family too is waiting for him to be back to celebrate his birthday..esp his adorable niece and nephew..

in the train back home..i decide to take the red line train..sending him to sembawang..and me taking a cab from there..on the way, this cheeky bf of mine.. so tak sabar to read his birthday card..haha! i asked him to read when he's home but he wanted to read it like at that point of time..tsk tsk..so i gave in and let him..

so that's the end of his celebration..short..simple yet sweet..that's what he quoted..
i know the things I did for him on his day can't beat the things he did for me on my 22nd..at times i feel so bad and scared that it wasn't that special compared to what he did..but he assured me with this phrase that i feel so blessed being with someone like him..i just adore him so much! "simple yet sweet d..i must appreciate the simplest and smallest things you do for me dear.." & that made me smiled..so yes even though it was a short celebration..it all came from the heart and effort..and i am really thankful to Allah that all was done smoothly..Alhamdullilah..all in all i am glad he liked the DKNY watch, cupcakes and most importantly having me celebrating his day.. (= not forgetting fanana my gerek buddy..who has helped me too..with suggestions and having conversations with me anytime i need one..thanks nana! we shall meet up soon ok!!
oh ya actually there are pictures on the PINK party that i attended last week with STOMP and other departments but i guess that will be a next time..this is already a long post..anyways back to work tomorrow! wuarghhh! a wk plus to go!
